Current customers and new customers who will visit your company website need one thing above all. The one thing these customers need is quality information. Make sure you cover your bases with quality information when planning your security website design by including these three pages in your website design:
1. Services and Products
When planning your security website design layout you should place prominence on your services and products page(s). Some companies think they do enough by providing a brief outline of information using bulleted lists and then giving contact information if more information is desired by the user. However, this is not enough.
You need to include as much information on your products and services as possible for your website visitors. They shouldn’t have to pick up the phone and go to the trouble of finding a phone number and waiting for a customer service representative. Give all of the information needed to make a decision about whether to buy. Your customers will appreciate having the ability to call if they want to but shouldn’t have to in order to make a decision.
2. About
You should provide information about your companies goals and progress on this page. Include any awards or exceptional feats you have accomplished in the industry. If a potential customer can’t figure out who you are, you will loose their business. Also ensure that you demonstrate that you are an established company. Always assume that the customer has never heard about you and include everything they might want to know about you.
3. Contact Page
Most importantly, your contact page should include your address. Include additional locations of your business if they exist. Also list all telephone numbers with an explanation of the best place to call based on the customer’s potential needs. Some customers will prefer to ask questions via email instead of dealing with the phone so also include an email address for questions and comments.
Potential customers and existing customers need information from your website. When planning your security website design include a services and products page, about page, and contact page. Giving more information rather than less will help your company attain more business.
